Warm water

Why the warm water works.

A hot tub holds water at about 38°C. Fifteen to twenty minutes in it warms the muscles, eases stiff joints and takes the edge off a long day, and the bubbles add a gentle massage. A soak an hour or so before bed helps many people settle and sleep. Keep sessions to about twenty minutes and drink water.

  • 01Delivery and installation are in the price. We deliver it, position it, fill it, heat it and hand it over running. Neither comes back later as a variation on the invoice.
  • 02We install it ourselves. Not a drop-off on your nature strip and a manual. It is put where you want it and handed over working.
  • 03Site checked first. Access, levels and clearances get confirmed before anything ships, so the day of the install has no surprises.
  • 04Electrical done properly. Where a build needs hardwiring, that is arranged and certified rather than left to you.

Quoted separately, after we have looked at the site: a concrete base if your ground needs one, and any new electrical circuit back to the switchboard. Neither can be priced honestly from a photograph. In Queensland a hot tub or spa that holds more than 300mm of water is a regulated pool: it needs a compliant barrier (a lockable cover is not enough on its own), approval from a building certifier and registration. We go through what yours needs at the site check.

Before you ask

The honest answers.

What is the warranty, and does it hold up with guests?

The warranty on the hot tubs and spas is set with the supplier and comes in writing with your quote, before you pay anything. Repairs are handled by our own crew in Queensland, not a claim you have to make against a factory overseas.

Is that the price, or does more get added?

That is the full price: the tub, delivery and installation in one number, on the page before you enquire. The only things outside it are a concrete base if your ground needs one and any new electrical circuit back to the switchboard. Those get quoted once we have seen the site, because they depend entirely on your property and any number we put here would be a guess.

What do I need to have ready?

A reasonably flat, firm base and a path wide enough to get the build through. We check both before you commit. If the ground needs work, we will tell you that up front rather than on the day.

What does it cost to run?

It depends on the build, the heater and how often you use it, and we would rather give you a real figure for the model you choose than a flattering average. Ask and we will work it through with you.

Wood-fired or electric?

Electric, and only electric. It is the practical answer for most suburban blocks anyway: no smoke, no permit questions, and you can set it on a timer so it is hot when you get home. It also lets us specify the heater and controller to the Australian standard and have it installed properly, which is the part a grey import cannot give you.

How long until I have it?

Lead time depends on the build and where it is in production. We confirm a real date with your quote, and we would rather quote a date we can hold than the shortest one that sounds good.

I want it for a short-stay property.

Then read the page we wrote for hosts. It covers what a sauna does to a listing, what the evidence actually supports, and what it does not.

Send us the photo and the render. We will come back with pricing, lead time and whether it actually works on that ground.
